The 1st International Workshop on Perception for Mobile Robots Autonomy will provide a venue where researchers, academics, scientists, engineers and practitioners throughout the world can gather to present and discuss the latest achievements, future challenges, and exciting applications of perception systems for mobile robots in general, and climbing and walking robots in particular.

PEMRA encourages papers dealing with the fundamentals of mobile robotics in unstructured and dynamic environments. The workshop covers topics in sensing, computational architecture, communication, planning, learning, control, and multi-robot cooperation. Contributions deriving inspiration from nature are particularly encouraged.

The PEMRA 2012 technical program will boast a single track. The track will accommodate peer-reviewed articles, comprising regular sessions, dealing with theoretical, experimental, and application-oriented work. The conference will also include dynamic keynote lectures from internationally recognized experts.  The conference will further feature tour of research laboratories. On the last day of the conference the participants are encouraged to take part in the Researchers' Night organized at Poznan University of Technology.
